About The Event

Our God is a God "In-Motion.

He is creating. Always creating. Moving. Adapting. Nudging. Assuring. Challenging. Loving. And while we can only pin human attributes to him, the God we know is above space and time and description. It’s why God can create something out of nothing. We are part of the finite world that He has created and given us, but God is an infinite God, meaning, whatever you can imagine He could do. Because our ways are not his ways, our thoughts are not his thoughts, so we have a limited perspective in which to work with. But God is a God who is always "In-Motion".

Our Triune God is a God in motion. Our three-in-one God; always dancing together in an ever-moving, ever-loving relationship, penetrating and flowing through the very essence of each person; longs for us to move in synchrony with Him.

You are invited to explore the gift of God by being “In-Motion.” But what does that mean? To be “In-Motion” for God looks a certain way. It focuses on certain things, and it moves in a certain direction. We will explore all of that and more as we look at the gift of being “In-Motion” for God and with God. We will see examples of the first church "In-Motion". Immediately after Jesus’ death, resurrection, and ascension, this new group of disciples launched an assault on sin and evil and it forever changed the world. And God’s church is still in-motion. Gleaning ideas from the first church, we will develop a theology of being “In-Motion” as we look to continue to move the Kingdom of God and the good news of Jesus Christ into the lives of our friends, families, and neighbors.

Please join me for a look at being “In-Motion” for God as we
