Take a look at what men are doing in our congregation. There are men involved all over in many of the ministries that are available at Trinity. There are men who have gone on mission trips with the youth, as well as the adult mission teams.
There are men involved with the Homeless Shelter ministry, the choirs, ushers, deacons, property team, etc. Men are involved! Could we use more men? You better believe it. So get up and take action. Call one of the Pastors today or one of the Men in Mission Leadership Team.
Now that you’ve taken that step of faith to become more involved, we want to offer you some spiritual growth time as well. We have the Men's Breakfast Fellowship that will begin meeting again on the second Saturday in September. We meet once a month for breakfast and a short Bible Study. It’s a good time to fellowship with other Christian men who are like you.
We also have our Tuesday night Men's Group that meets every Tuesday night at 7:00 p.m., even through the summer months. We have fellowship time as well as a Bible Study. Usually, our Bible Studies are stand-alone, which means that you won’t miss an important part in a Bible Study Series if you miss a week. We also use this time to share. We will forgo our Bible Study if someone needs to talk about something happening in their life. We’re there for you, so bring a coffee or soft drink and have a good time.
In addition, there’s our annual Men’s Retreat that takes place the first full weekend in February. The 2010 retreat will be held on February 5-7 at Black Rock Retreat, about an hour from Trinity. The cost is $110.00 for the weekend which includes: meals, lodging in a bunk house, retreat materials, as well as some quality fellowship time with a group of Christian men just like you.
