The fundamental and underlying principle for the existence and operation of all Ministry Leadership Teams of Trinity Lutheran Church is SPIRITUAL – that is, each activity of this congregation will be carried out for the sole purpose of showing our love for Jesus Christ and sharing that love with our congregation and community.
CHILDREN'S
TEAM RESPONSIBILITIES: We connect with families to teach children the love and character of Jesus Christ while assisting them to become fully-devoted disciples of God. We offer and support events such as: Interactive Sunday School, Children’s Church, First Holy Communion, Christmas Pageant, Vacation Bible School, Family Fun events, Community Outreach Programs and Family Strengthening Educational Seminars, just to name a few.

DISCIPLESHIP
TEAM RESPONSIBILITIES: “We gather around God’s Word to help us grow in our relationship with Jesus Christ and others.” We stress the need to bring every member to maturity in Christ and to equip every member for ministry. Discipleship: Home Bible Study, women’s circles, Men’s Small Group. Fellowship: KeenAger’s , Sister’s of the Red Sea, Movie Group, GoodTimers, Trackers, Quilter’s, Evening Mom’s and Dad’s, Quilt Making, Scrap Booking, Single’s Ministry and Support, 55+ Ministry and Recovery Groups.

EVANGELISM
TEAM RESPONSIBILITIES: We take the Good News about Jesus Christ out of the church and into the community and the world. We reach out through Arctic Ministry, Church Greeters, Inactive Visitation, Community Evangelism, Apple Pie, and Homeless Shelter Ministry.

FELLOWSHIP
TEAM RESPONSIBILITIES: Supervises and sponsors activities and special functions supported by the church; such as coffee socials, Lenten soup and salad, Bereavement Meals, Pre-Martial Luncheon, and Rally Day/Kick-Off weekend, Single Events, On and Off-Site Sporting Events, and Christmas Dinner.

LAY MINISTRY
TEAM RESPONSIBILITIES: All worship services and related functions: Ushers, deacons, Altar Guild, worship assistants, sick/shut-in communion and visitation, and music program. Provide supervision and support for pastoral and office staffs

PROPERTY
TEAM RESPONSIBILITIES: Care of all property: Church, cemetery and grounds. Supervise capital improvements, maintenance/house cleaning staff, insurance and maintenance contracts, compliance with health department regulations and road signs. Maintains building usage calendar and supervises all groups that use the facility.

PUBLIC RELATIONS
TEAM RESPONSIBILITIES: Handles external publication of church news and worship schedules: Coordinates in-house publication items from boards; responsible for bulletin boards, posters, etc.

STEWARDSHIP
TEAM RESPONSIBILITIES: Investigates benevolent causes and determines distribution of congregational benevolence funds: supervises food closet and holiday food basket programs, clothing and emergency-need projects: responsible for annual program to obtain Faith Promises for Budget and Building Fund and an Endowment Fund.

TRINITY LUTHERAN SCHOOL AND CHILD CARE CENTER
TEAM RESPONSIBILITIES: Functions as the Board of Directors for all school and child care programs; sets policy and supervises the administrator and education directors of TLS/CCC; and sponsor a special academic and fellowship summer programs.

WOMENS
TEAM RESPONSIBILITIES: Meets the needs of the ladies of our congregation through spiritual gatherings, enjoyable fellowship events and charitable outreach projects. Seek to bring women closer to God and each other while answering the call to service God has made to each of us.

YOUTH
TEAM RESPONSIBILITIES: Supervises and sponsors all middle school and senior high monthly programs, youth worship, youth small groups, retreats, field trips, summer mission trip and fund-raising activities.
